Hi, I’m Stu
For more than fifteen years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside children, young people, families and school staff across a wide range of educational settings.
Throughout my career, I’ve held roles including teacher, SENDCO, senior leader and Head of Key Stage. Those experiences have given me a deep understanding of the realities schools face every day, as well as the challenges families can encounter when trying to secure the right support for their children.
Over the years, I realised that the part of my job I found most rewarding wasn’t simply leading teams or managing systems—it was working alongside people to solve complex challenges, build confidence and create lasting change. Whether supporting a school to strengthen inclusive practice or helping a family navigate the SEND journey, I found the greatest impact came from taking the time to listen, understand and work collaboratively.
That’s why I created SRO Education.
I wanted the freedom to support schools, organisations and families in a way that reflects my values. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, I believe every school has its own strengths, every family has its own story and every challenge deserves a thoughtful, personalised approach.
For me, relationships always come first. By building trust, developing people’s confidence and focusing on sustainable improvement, my aim is simple: to help create better outcomes for children and young people.
