There’s no expectation that you’ll book anything afterwards. Sometimes half an hour is enough to point you in the right direction.
A good place to start if…
SOMEWHERE TO START
Sometimes you just need somewhere to start.
You might have been thinking about getting some advice for a while, or something might have happened this week that’s left you wondering what to do next. Either way, you don’t need to arrive with everything worked out.
The Clarity Call is half an hour to tell me what’s going on. I’ll listen, ask a few questions and help you work out where you might go from here.
You might be wondering…
- “Is the support my child is getting at school enough?”
- “Should I be asking school to do something differently?”
- “Should I be asking school to do something differently?”
- “Does my child need an assessment?”
- “What does all of this SEND terminology actually mean?”
- “I’ve been given a plan or report and I’m not really sure what I’m looking at.”
- “Where do I even start?”
Or perhaps…
- School has raised a concern and you’re not sure what it means.
- Your child is finding school increasingly difficult.
- You’ve got a SEND meeting coming up and don’t know what to ask.
- You’ve been given a plan, report or letter and you’re not sure what it means or what you’re supposed to do next.
- You’re getting different advice from different people.
- You just want to talk the situation through with someone who understands schools and SEND.
And if your situation doesn’t fit neatly into any of those examples, that’s fine too.
The Clarity Call isn’t an assessment and you don’t need to prove that there’s a problem before you book one. It’s simply a first conversation.
WHAT TO EXPECT
What actually happens on a Clarity Call?
Nothing formal. It’s a relaxed 30-minute conversation about what’s happening for your child and what you’d like some help thinking through.
You don’t need to prepare a presentation, know all the right terminology or have every piece of paperwork to hand. Just come as you are and tell me what’s been going on.
Before we talk
When you book, I’ll ask you for a little bit of information about what you’d like to discuss. Nothing lengthy- just enough to give me an idea of what’s going on.
You don’t need to send me a bundle of documents beforehand.
During the call
We’ll talk about what’s happening, what’s worrying you and what you’ve already tried. I’ll probably ask a few questions to help me understand the situation properly.
I’ll give you my initial thoughts and, where I can, point you towards a sensible next step.
It’s a conversation, not an assessment.
Afterwards
Sometimes the call itself will be enough. You might leave knowing who you need to speak to, what question to ask or where to find the information you need.
If I think one of my other services would genuinely help, I’ll explain which one and why. If free support or somebody else would be better, I’ll tell you that instead.
There’s no follow-up sales pitch.
What can we talk about?
A Clarity Call isn’t enough time for me to review an EHCP, report or other detailed paperwork properly. If that’s what you need, I’ll help you identify the right service for it.
A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING
Before you book.
I’ve tried to keep the Clarity Call as simple as possible. Here are the answers to a few things you might be wondering before you book.
OTHER WAYS I CAN HELP
Not quite what you need?
A Clarity Call is deliberately brief. If you already know you need more time or something more specific, one of these services might be a better place to start.
You don’t need to book a Clarity Call first.

More time to bring the different pieces together, decide what matters most and turn your concerns into a clear, practical plan for moving forward.
£95/60 minutes
EHCP & SEND Review Meeting Preparation
If you’ve got an important meeting coming up.
Focused preparation for an EHCP Annual Review, SEND Support Review or another important meeting, so you know what you want to raise and the questions you want to ask.
READY WHEN YOU ARE
Sometimes the first conversation is all you need.
Whether you’re worried about your child’s progress, preparing for an important meeting or simply unsure what to do next, you don’t have to work it all out on your own.
The first conversation is about listening, understanding what’s happening for your child and helping you make sense of your options.
If we decide to work together, the support will be shaped around your child, your family and the things that matter most to you.
KNOWLEDGE. INCLUSION. IMPACT.
