Clear, practical educational support when you’re not sure what to do next.
Whether you’re worried about your child’s progress, preparing for an important meeting or simply unsure where to begin, I can provide calm, practical guidance to help you understand your options and move forward with greater confidence.

WHEN THIS HELPS
You don’t have to work it all out alone.
When something isn’t working for your child at home or school, it can be difficult to know what to ask, who to speak to or what should happen next. Sometimes you simply need an independent person to help you make sense of the situation and work out a practical way forward.
You don’t need to arrive knowing which service you need. We can start with what’s happening now and work from there.
Not sure where to start?
Every family’s situation is different. If you’re unsure which type of support would be most helpful for your child, start with a free 30-minute Clarity Call. I’ll talk through what’s happening and help you decide on the most useful next step, with no obligation to book anything else.

ATTENDANCE & SCHOOL ANXIETY CONSULTATION
Understand what’s getting in the way of school attendance.

INDEPENDENT EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT
Looking for a SEND advocate?
You may have come across the term SEND advocate while looking for support. It can mean different things to different families, so it’s important to be clear about the kind of support I offer.
What does “SEND advocate” mean?
“SEND advocate” is often used to describe lots of different kinds of support. For some families, it means having someone help them prepare for an important meeting. For others, it means understanding an EHCP or SEND plan, making sense of reports or working out what to ask school for. Some families are looking for someone to represent them or provide legal advice.
What I offer through SRO Education is independent educational guidance and practical support. I can help you understand your child’s situation, make sense of information and paperwork, identify the questions you want to ask and prepare for important conversations with school.
My role is to help you feel better informed, better prepared and more confident about what happens next.
How I can help
What I don’t provide
If I think your situation needs specialist legal advice, I’ll tell you.
FREE SUPPORT IS AVAILABLE TOO
You may not need to pay for support.
Every local authority area has a SENDIASS service providing free, impartial information, advice and support to children and young people with SEND and their parents and carers. IPSEA also provides free independent information and advice about SEND law.
If one of those services is better suited to what you need, I’ll tell you. I would rather point you towards the right free support than recommend a paid SRO Education service that you don’t need.
HOW WE WORK
Simple support, shaped around your family.
Getting support shouldn’t feel complicated. We’ll start with what’s happening for your child and your family, then work together to decide what would be most helpful.
TELL ME WHAT’S HAPPENING
Start by sharing what’s happening for your child, what you’re concerned about and what you’d like help with. You don’t need to have everything worked out before getting in touch.
WE’LL AGREE THE RIGHT SUPPORT
We’ll decide what kind of support would be most useful. That might be a one-off consultation, help preparing for a meeting, a more detailed planning session or ongoing support.

MOVE FORWARD WITH CONFIDENCE
You’ll leave with greater clarity, practical next steps and a better understanding of what to do next. Where further support would be helpful, we’ll agree that together.
EVERY FAMILY PARTNERSHIP INCLUDES
Support centred around your family.
Every child, family and situation is different. Whatever support you choose, you can expect a thoughtful, personalised approach that takes time to understand what’s happening and focuses on helping you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A few things you might be wondering.
It’s normal to have questions before deciding whether support is right for your family. Here are some of the things parents and carers often want to know.
LET’S HAVE A CONVERSATION
Every partnership starts with a conversation.
Whether you’re worried about your child’s progress, preparing for an important meeting or simply unsure what to do next, you don’t have to work it all out on your own.
The first conversation is about listening, understanding what’s happening for your child and helping you make sense of your options.
If we decide to work together, the support will be shaped around your child, your family and the things that matter most to you.
KNOWLEDGE. INCLUSION. IMPACT.
